The vicious beast bit me as I was petting him!

  I've been bitten by one mouse when I was younger and nervous and didn't know how to handle it
• rat
  I had two pet rats and one of them bit me while I was moving them from a small cage to a larger one. I wasn't overly surprised but it hurt! They have long incisors which went almost all the way through the end of my finger, stopping just short of the bottom of the nail!
